What does it mean when my cat twitches its tail?

A cat’s twitching tail is generally a warning sign, meaning it’s annoyed or slightly unhappy. If the tail is held high this means they are happy and if the tail is tucked close to its body, it is a sign of insecurity. Its tail is what also what allows it to land on its feet when falling from high places.

What are the most common pet in America?

The most common pet in America is a Cat, contrary to popular belief that dogs are more popular. There are approximately 66 million cats. Dogs are close behind – 58 million. In a distant third is a Parakeet with 14 million.

How long will my dog live?

The average life span for a dog is 12-15 years old. The common belief that one human year is equal to 7 “dog years” is not completely accurate. Generally speaking a 6-year-old dog has aged about as much as a 45-year-old human. At ten the dog is like a 65-year-old human and at 15 the dog has aged about as much as a 90-year-old human.

How long will my cat live?

The average life span for cats is between 15-20 years old. However there are many cats that live beyond 20 and even a few that reach over 30 years old. A 15-year-old cat is about the equivalent of a 77-year-old human.
 
What are the largest dogs available and how much food do they eat?

A Great Dane is the tallest breed of dog. A full grown Great Dane will eat approximately 8 ½ lbs of food each day.
